• Internet Connection—Of course, if you can read this page you already have one. We are designing the LiveModern website to be accessible via a 56K modem. This means that most graphics files have been minimized in size to enable fast page downloads. If you have a DSL or cable modem connection, your experience of LiveModern will be faster.
• Web Browser—Again, you already have one. But some web browsers are better than others when viewing LiveModern pages. The LiveModern website uses server technology that favors "standards-compliant" browsers on both Windows and Macintosh computers.

• On Windows computers, Internet Explorer versions 5.5 and later, as well as Firefox and Safari, are supported. On Macintosh computers Safari, as well as all versions of  Firefox and Internet Explorer 5.0 and later, are supported.
  
• Note that the system's easy-to-use and built-in content editor does not work with Safari on both Macintosh and Windows computers (it's Safari's fault, not ours). On any kind of computer, we highly recommend Firefox. It's free.

• Other web browsers, including older versions of these browsers, may work fine on either platform, but they have not been tested nor will they necessarily be supported by the LiveModern website. In any event, all LiveModern content is viewable by any browser. It just looks like it was designed when viewed using a standards compliant browser.

• Cookies—To login to the LiveModern website, you must have cookies enabled in your web browser. This is so that as you move from page to page you can maintain your account information. Be sure to log out of LiveModern when you are finished.

All of these technologies are widely availble for little or no cost to you. And support for installing or upgrading these technolgies is also widely available, usually through your Internet Service Provider. For this reason, LiveModern cannot provide support for installing or upgrading your technology.
