Witold Rybczynski, an architecture critic and architect, authored a short review of the state of modern prefab last month in Slate. He was also interviewed on Day to Day on NPR. While I think he shortchanges some of the more successful prefab projects out there right now (notice no mention of MKD or Res4, two firms that really seem to be challenging the notion that architects can't/won't/don't
