LiveModern is a growing social network because it provides free internet tools—forums, blogs, event listings, news items, etc.—that enable modernists to seek and share modern housing solutions. We help connect your company to the modern market through advertising on LiveModern.

Now that LiveModern is fast and stable—thanks to the voluntary financial contributions by many of our members—we are ready to actively promote advertising opportunities to keep growing the community. There are currently two ways to advertise on LiveModern:

• Google AdWords

This service allows you to push your ads into the "ad links" area (linked to via the upper left of each page) and the Google text and image ads (three other advertising areas of each page). Adwords enables you to displace other advertisers that do not specifically target LiveModern visitors. When you see an ad space that has only one advertiser in it, they have targeted LiveModern with their ad dollars. You can do this, too: Google Adwords are very easy and inexpensive to create and evaluate.

• Adbrite

This service, used by many sister sites such as Apartment Therapy and Treehugger.com, allows you to directly promote your products and/or services in the "more livemodern sponsors" area (right column) of each LiveModern page. We screen Adbrite ads so that only ads that are directly related to the site's content appear. This means that your ads are not fighting for our visitors' attention with irrelevant ads (sometimes a problem with Google), thus increasing your click-through rate. Click on the "buy a text link" to advertise on LiveModern using Adbrite.

LiveModern's site statistics, for both unique visits and page views, compare very favorably with other websites devoted to similar content. Yet our advertising rates are quite competitive. As with any other advertiser, we will adjust our rates periodically, so locking in our low introductory pricing now is to your advantage.

There are other ways to promote your products and/or services on LiveModern, free of charge. The two most common are:

• News Items—time-limited in nature, such as open houses, exhibitions, tv shows, sales, etc.

• Events—press releases announcing the introduction of a product or service.

Publishing an Event or News Item follows a similar procedure. Each of these services is free to any registered member of LiveModern and visible in the "news" and "events" areas on each LiveModern page. But your content will expire after it is no longer timely.

You can take also advantage of the other tools to promote your business that LiveModern freely provides to any member of the site.
