This marvellous treehouse/pod - TREExOFFICE - is now open for business in Hoxton Square, London, as part of the Park Hack project. Built around a tree, groups and individuals can book it from now until December (£15 per half day for a desk, £120 for the whole thing, free for community groups at the weekend) and work inside on its wooden workbenches and using it Wifi (there's eight desk spaces which need to be booked via - see @HOXTONxTREE on the Twitter for daily updates). It's built from compressed paper and wood and covered in translucent plastic and polycarbonate slat. The whole thing was put together by architecture studio  Tate Harmer , working with architecture firm Gensler and artists  Natalie Jeremijenko  and  Shuster + Moseley . All profits go back into funding Hackney's parks and other green spaces. So excited for the launch of #TREExOFFICE today! @HOXTONxTREE you are looking great! — t a y l e r (@taylergroom) June 9, 2015 So @JJElfar and @markgodber are amongst the first in @HOXTONxTREE - what's the view like up there?! — Artsadm*n (@artsadm) June 9, 2015 The working life in a #TREExOFFICE @HOXTONxTREE @Tate_Harmer @GroundworkLON @artsadm @hackneycouncil — Caro Communications (@carocomms) June 9, 2015 Filmmaker @WilksWill getting up close to @HOXTONxTREE in the sunshine #2DegreesFestival — Jennifer Tomkins (@JenniferTomkins) June 4, 2015
