Shedworking reader Tim Warner has been in touch to share the workshop he has been building in his 1860s log-crib barn (pictured top, to the right is a 10x10 cabin and a solar shower). Inside is a 20' x 12' workshop for Tim's silversmithing, a space currently used by his wife as a yoga/meditation space. "The lamella roof is an ingenious German invention from the early 1900s," says Tim, "used as the design for WWII RAF aircraft hangars, the ones covered in grass that you see in many of the abandoned airfields across the UK." --------------------------------------------------------------- Create energy, create space, go solar with energyspace solar garden buildings.
