Tile Backsplash: To Paint or Not To Paint? — Good Questions

Q: Hi! We are currently renovating our main floor, which is an open concept family room/dining room/kitchen. We changed the floor from beige carpet to dark hardwood, and changed the kitchen floor from tan linoleum tiles to dark grey/black porcelain tiles. We changed the wall color from a pea soup green (I know!) to a very light blue. The problem we have now is that the backsplash kind of clashes with the wall color. We don't want to tear the backsplash out right now, so we are wondering what options we have until we are ready to completely pull it all out and redo it: More
