Charles Pollock, designer of the Pollock Executive Chair and the CP Lounge Chair (left), died Tuesday at the age of 83 in a Queens house fire. Pollock worked at Herman Miller under George Nelson in 1958, and designed the Swag Leg Armchair. His Pollock Executive Chair was released by Knoll in 1963.  In other news, check out Gehry's "Icehenge" lobby sculpture, and these building blocks turn into furniture.
