Interesting news from the Landmark Trust charity that could have an effect on historic shedworking properties. They have emphasised their ongoing commitment to saving irreplaceable threatened historic buildings and are now particularly targeting certain neglected building categories which includes: • Small and significant industrial buildings • Seaside and leisure buildings such as pavilions and villas • Transport and communications structures like signal boxes and semaphore towers • Remote and unchanged rural domestic houses and crofts Pictured is the Radio Room on Lundy, Devon. It was a radio transmitter station in the early part of the 20th century and now provides accommodation for one. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thursday posts are sponsored by Cabin Master : garden offices and studios to fit any size garden. Top quality contemporary or traditional buildings.
