Louise Adamson visits Monk's House in Sussex for Woman's Hour , the site of Virginia's garden office (see here and here for more detail). It's an atmospheric piece which features the writing hut/lodge and talks about its construction (it cost £157 but it had a good view and a brick terrace) and details about how she wrote, interestingly rather like Roald Dahl, another wellknown shedworker. Well worth a listen - it starts at about 21 minutes in. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday posts are sponsored by The Stable Company® , the UK's premier supplier of garden offices and garden rooms.
