Artist Luke Jerram's series of microbiology sculptures renders the world's most horrifying viruses into strangely beautiful blown glass. Composites of diagrams, images, and virologists, though not to exact scale, the pieces can serve an educational purpose. The sculptures are on display starting February 1 at the National Centre for Craft and Design in the U.K. In other news, high-end homesteading grows in popularity, and check out vacuums shaped like houses.
