Exhibition Fresh Flowers—The Evolution of Floral Design in 20th-Century Textiles 2400 Third Avenue South Minneapolis , 55404 Throughout the centuries, flowers have been an important source of inspiration for western textile designers. The twentieth century was a particularly fertile period of innovation and change in fabric design, resulting in dramatic reinterpretations of the classic floral subject.
