Exhibition Fresh Flowers—The Evolution of Floral Design in 20th-Century Textiles 2400 Third Avenue South Minneapolis , 55404 Throughout the centuries, flowers have been an important source of inspiration for western textile designers. The twentieth century was a particularly fertile period of innovation and change in fabric design, resulting in dramatic reinterpretations of the classic floral subject. This exhibition presents examples from several of the leading styles of the twentieth century, from Art Nouveau to Flower Power.
