Q: The space we're using as the "living room" is a very irregular shape. We don't want to block the windows, nor can we block the storage closet (behind the couch). We're having difficulty laying out

We're having difficulty laying out our furniture and feel like the current layout just doesn't feel right. The bookshelf seems out of place and it also feels as though we're wasting a lot of space behind the couch, especially since the apartment is so tiny (640 square feet). The only piece of furniture you don't see in the picture is an Eames rocker, which usually sits opposite the red chair. We are willing to invest in a few more pieces to tie the room together. Any suggestions?
