Architecture firm Elii has built an off-the-grid housing prototype that requires the inhabitants to generate part of their own energy. The JF-Kit House is inspired by Jane Fonda, the actress and fitness celebrity. Using calisthenic fixtures like weights and spin bikes, when the workout regimen is lax, so is the electricity.  In other news, Philippe Starck-designed villas in Bali are now available, and Sears is turning old stores into data centers.
