REMODEL YOUR HOME ON HGTV!
HGTV’s newest show, ARMCHAIR DESIGNER, is looking for homeowners willing to let a talented AMATEUR designer work with one of your favorite HGTV design stars to design one room in your home! Thirteen lucky homeowners who live within 30 miles of the Los Angeles area will be selected to have a room in their home designed on HGTV. We want to give an amateur “armchair designer” a taste of the world of professional design, so the homeowner/client’s participation is critical. Talking with you on camera and interpreting your wishes and taste will be a big part of the show.

~your full name, phone and address of the property
~a recent photo of yourself and several pictures of the room you’d like to have redesigned
~brief explanation why you feel you should be considered for this redesign
~information regarding your living situation (spouse/roommates/children/pets)

*SUBMISSIONS NOT PROVIDING PICTURES AND ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

Do you watch HGTV design shows and think, I could do that? Have you done the interior design of your own home or of your friends and neighbors? Think you have what it takes to be an interior designer but never thought you’d ever get a chance to design for a real client? Here’s your chance!
In HGTV’s exciting new show ARMCHAIR DESIGNER, amateur designers will get to work with one of their favorite HGTV design stars designing for a real client. While an HGTV designer will be on hand to offer help, if selected, you will be working directly with the client who will expect amazing professional results. They will get an incredible makeover and you will finally see if you’ve got what it takes to be a real designer-on HGTV!
This is not a competition. Thirteen lucky people will be selected individually based on a 5-8 minute video submission that reflects their design skills, personality and design sensibilities. ONLY AMATEURS NEED APPLY; you cannot have worked or be currently working as a designer or in a design-related field or have any formal design training.
