Giant Calendar—for which he hopes to secure Kickstarter funding. Like the Stendig, It’s a Month! is a huge (3×4 feet) all-typography affair, rendered in stark black-and-white. But the emphasis here is on phrasing, rather than numbers, with the arrival of each month loudly announced on each page in “giant, chunky, beautiful type.” The typefaces in question are Forza, an appropriately bold, geometric font, and Gotham, which may be a requisite for a Brooklynite. As with Stendig, the beauty of the It’s a Month! Giant Calendar is that each passing month and its torn-off page makes a graphic statement all its own—or at the very least, some terrific gift wrap for type-obsessed creatives.f48483e67305a95befc657f3360dc1a5_largea8a061dc0e8a62cfdc46d0f45d3370c8_large
