An instant classic, as the name might imply. The Modernatique chair by  Cho hyung Suk Design is described as having the beautiful curves of an antique piece with the clean lines of modern design, all working together in proper harmony. I must admit that it is one good looking chair that certainly invites the standing to take a seat. I wouldn’t mind having a couple of these nicely placed in the entry of my office to welcome guests or more selfishly in the middle of my family room.

I love to see that they’ve taken their idea from concept rendering to a full-blown prototype (in images above). The chair is design in a wood with black and a wood with white option, and has an accompanying table that nicely complements the chair. You’ll need to jump over to chohyungsuk.com to see more images of the chair and check out the great looking table companion.
