2Modern BIG Series 7 ChairFritz Hansen wants to keep the Series 7 Chair front and center for as long as possible, and who can blame them? Arne Jacobsen’s timeless 1955 design, which turns 60 this year, is worthy of celebration, and has been fittingly feted with a pair of ravishing 60th anniversary limited edition releases by the Danish manufacturer.

Now comes a suite of 7 symbolic interpretations of the Series 7 (the amended trademark name assigned to the 3107 Chair) by a lineup of contemporary architects chosen by Fritz Hansen to add their signature touches to Jacobsen’s seamless bent plywood form.
