Landeta, a prolific young illustrator with gallery representation, has embarked on an intriguing project in which the insides of pharmaceutical boxes, of all things, serve as canvases for a series of exquisitely nuanced bird and botanical illustrations. Landeta borrows from John James Audubon’s masterful orinthological studies for her detailed compositions, and her considerable skill with pencil and brush are on full display.
