Never Built Los Angeles explores the "what if" of Los Angeles architecture. Above is a shot of what LAX was maybe going to look like. Now, as we all know the middle section exists as a restaurant and the terminals are across the street.... and not under a super cool glass dome. You don't want to miss this exhibit that runs through October 13th at the Architecture and Design Museum . The exhibit asks why L.A. is a center for great architects, yet lacking in urban innovation? The show features illustrations, renderings, blueprints and models to show the power of architectural ideas.   6032 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036 info@aplusd.org July 28, 2013 - October 13, 2013 General Adult: $10 Seniors and Students: $5 A+D Members and Children under 12: Free Image: A + D
