Magnussen’s 1977 vessel, now a Nordic classic, has traditionally been available in a series of colored plastic outer shells; but this Hot Metal series, which also includes versions in copper and mirror finishes, is Stelton’s first foray into shiny metallics. The new finishes—actually color coated stainless steel—cost about twice as much as the previous iterations, but, presumably, will shine twice as brightly, too.
