LOVE how clean and simple this leaning shelf project looks. So perfect if you don’t have a ton of books that you need to display but you still want a little attractive storage. Found on everyone’s favorite DIY site, Curbly, you’ll need some tools and some woodworking know-how, but not too much. If you can competently measure and cut wood, you should be able to put this puppy into your space.

The best part? The folks who originally came up with this project, those crazy clever guys and gals at Lowe’s, kept the wood bare in the photo, but you could paint it anything. Just anything. Wouldn’t this look amazing in a bright majorelle blue with a glossy overcoat? Uh…yeah. Find everything you need on Curbly — How To: Make a Modern Leaning Shelf!

What do you think about this project? Cool? Awesome? Gonna do it right this minute?
