xmastree1It’s not that we’re opposed to real trees, but we seem to be running across a preponderance of paper alternatives of late. These oversized tree posters are part of the Super Fun Happy Tree project, created by a group of Australian designers who made original art specifically for the project. Heavyweight matte paper and a magnetic display system turn their stylized creations (we especially like the red balloon number) into arty trees for dwellings where space is at a premium. Alas, Super Fun Happy Tree doesn’t ship internationally, but they’ve certainly given us a few ideas.SFHT_2012_IN_SITU_Prod_DIY_Blank_ZOOM
