One doesn’t think “modern” when one thinks of nearly photo-realistic portraits of traditional-looking beach huts. But somehow, British-based artist Linda Monk’s work is modernly doing it for us. With summer stretching out only a little while longer before us, perhaps we are wistfully looking back through our own most recent summer memories, or perhaps hoping to be transported to the next great few summer months.
