Designed and made by the New York studio Dzierlenga F+U, the swings are crafted from cedar and reclaimed oak, threaded with hemp rope, and finished with copper detailing—and reflect a humble utilitarian elegance, coupled with a seasoned appreciation for a product thoughtfully made.

Which may, in the end, be an apt description for Culture+Commerce Project, a creative endeavor predicated on showcasing the work of emerging New York-based artists and artisans engaged in hand made, sustainably sourced, and locally produced contemporary furnishings and accessories. An admirable mission, by any measure—and we, for one, hope Culture+Commerce Project remains squarely in…the swing of things…for quite some time.
