Whiskey Rocks, cubed pieces of “non-porous, odorless, tasteless, and food safe” soapstone, just need a stint in the freezer before being plopped in a drink for chilling duties (and, alternatively, can be heated in the microwave and dropped into a hot drink to keep it warmer longer), while Whiskey Cubes and Wine Pearls, made from polished stainless steel, do the same thing in a slightly flashier way.
