a lightweight, thin-framed style of seating that originated in the Italian town of the same name some 200 years ago. Known as Colombo Sanguineti’s masterpiece, the shapely seat won honorable mention for the famed Compasso d’Oro award in 1956, and was recently revived by Segno Italiano using sketches inherited from the designer. With its sculpted maple frame and reed-wrapped seat, this re-edition retains all the glory of the original.
