It’s true: we usually try to find DIY projects that are modern-looking enough to fit into your ultra hip, ultra cool modern home. BUT, sometimes we stumble upon little projects that are perfect for getting away from a modern look. For adding just a touch of vintage charm to the home. Today we bring you this adorable French Press Cozy idea.

Spotted on the blog “a bit of sunshine,” we understand that this DIY project actually asked you to crochet this whole thing. Hey, if you know how to crochet, good for you. I sure as heck don’t. BUT, I do know how to look for those little crocheted squares at thrift stores, which I bet any of you out in blog land could do, too. The point is, sometimes you need a little soft, vintage charm on an appliance in your sleek modern kitchen to soften things up. See more here.
