I love a good rescue/rehab, especially if its a mid century modern house. Listed by Realtor Michael Shapiro who I met when I had the opportunity to tour the Miller House, Michael specializes in helping people buy and sell mid-century modern homes in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. This home by Architect Charles Goodman was just about at disrepair when it was saved by its current owners. I really like the “bones” of the house and think they did a pretty good job bringing this mid century beauty back to life.

The owners of this 1953 Goodman took a dilapidated, near tear-down house and transformed it into a stunning modernistic retreat that could be featured in the pages of Dwell magazine. From the Neutra house numbers to the gallery-style lighting to the minimalist kitchen and baths, this home is one of the premier renovations in Hollin Hills.
