Andy Warhol—who embraced many things and objected to very little—would have, no doubt, been thrilled with Andy Warhol x Flavor Paper, a tribute to the artist created by the Brooklyn-based wallpaper studio Flavor Paper. With the blessing of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Flavor Paper has applied some of Warhol’s most famous iconography to a range of striking wall coverings, making accessible to a whole new generation of design enthusiasts the vivid, repetitious images for which the artist remains famous.

The most recognizable of the motifs in the collection is Warhol’s Flowers, a series of stylized hibiscus images first introduced to the world in 1964, during Warhol’s first major New York gallery exhibition. Flavor Paper’s Flowers and Small Flowers, available in a range of matte and metallic colorways, aren’t so much exact replicas as imitations meant to invoke the vibrant Pop Art sensibilities that Warhol helped define. Andy, we suspect, would have been flattered by the imitation.
