Bookman-Bike-Whistle-Acme-2Upping the ante on bicycle bells, Swedish brand Bookman has come up with a contemporary whistle that leverages “wave interference” technology to produce a sound that transcends street noise without the help of moving parts. Bookman collaborated with Acme Whistles, the century-old Birmingham, England, whistle manufacturer on the design, which has been given a clean, specific shape to prevent being inadvertently inserted into the wearer’s mouth, and equipped with a cord that can easily be broken in the event of posing any danger to the wearer. Why opt for bells and whistles when a whistle alone will do?
