Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon can go either big or small. Earlier this year, his Ro lounge chair for Fritz Hansen was one of the stars of the Milan Furniture Fair, hailed as a future classic on par with present-day classic, Egg. Now Hayon, whose extensive repertoire includes interior design and fine art, in addition to product design, brings his playful sensibility to a series of new decanters for Spanish ceramics brand Bosa. Pellicano is a softly curved, bird-shaped decanter set, with a prominent beak-shaped spout, suitable as a container for most any liquid. While we think Pellicano is a mighty cute bird, we confess to initially mistaking him for a penguin.
