Thoughtbarn, an Austin-based firm which looks to specialize in just about anything creative, has a number of interior projects that caught our eye today. We’re bringing you the Calabria Road project, which is a conversion of two flats in a Victorian-style terrace into a home that would fit a modern family. Not working with a lot of space, they really made some smart changes that efficiently and comfortably create spaces you just want to be in. There’s a lot of innovation on many levels, both large architectural elements and even smaller decorative details. We love that even though a lot of modern design ideas were introduced to keep things uncluttered and flowing nicely, they were still able to find room to include cute and comfortable decor elements that really help to make this a home. We love the etched negative birds on the windows and that gorgeous blue and white tile in the shower! More here.
