This floor cushion with a unique plaited upholstery was designed by Kumeko, a design studio based in Prague, Czech Republic. The name Knotty is related to the method of manufacturing which was inspired by old weaving, knotting and basket-making techniques.

The upholstery is made from soft jersey tubes stuffed with highly resilient foam. The lining is filled with polystyrene balls which allows the cushion to adjust, and mold itself to your body shape making it so comfortable to sit on.
