This modernist house by Gareth Hoskins was designed and built in 2002. The home sits within the historic walls of a former fruit garden at the foot of the picturesque Lomond Hills. A newer home reflecting some of our favorite elements of mid century architecture. Hoskins client was very fond of Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion and was a strong influence with the design. I love the old property stone stacked walls, they contrast beautifully with the walls of glass. The roof overhang in the back of the house is a breathtaking design element that can not go unnoticed.
