“Whoa” was the first word that popped into my mind when I saw House in Yatsugatake by Kidosaki Architects Studio. That extreme cantilever set on the steep slope makes for some pretty amazing architecture. The views in this location are pretty much breath taking judging only from the images. I really like the low long reaching design of the structure itself, with even the two support struts given detail with a metal look. The wood under the eves and on the exterior running the length of the house really exaggerate the reach of the structure as well.
