Atlanta, Georgia-based artist Drew Tyndell is really doing something special with wood. Using flat pieces of intricately cut and sometimes-painted different grains and species of wood, he creates flat, 2D art pieces that sometimes depict 3D ideas. It’s meta and fresh all in one.
