A search for the perfect Christmas tree inspired the range of whimsical illustrations on Marimekko’s Kuusikossa fabric, one of our favorite choices for holiday decorating. Marimekko has applied its Kuusikossa (the Finnish word for ‘spruce’) pattern—designed by Maija Louekari, and available in both black-and-white and a tasteful red-and-white color scheme—to everything from trays to aprons; and, given how well these Christmas trees look, whether alone or as a ‘forest,’ we’d say the decision was spot-on.
