“Cassie began designing and fabricating lamps during her graduate architecture studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she became enamored with digital design tools and fabrication methods. After earning a Masters of Architecture in December 2010, she moved back to Seattle, bought a CNC machine, and established Cassie Hibbert Design in February 2011.”

“CHD lamps have been featured in the Seattle Art Museum Shop, the Tieton Chandelier Festival, and the Onn/Of light festival in Ballard. In Fall 2011, Cassie Hibbert Design completed a commission to design and fabricate ten skylight diffusers for the new Pierce County Library in Fife, Wash. CHD currently makes lamps from a small workshop in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.” More on Cassie Hibbert Designs’ website.
