I believe interior design and your surroundings affect your emotional state. That being said, this family built a home in the forest for their autistic triplets to thrive. It has all the elements for a healthy mental state, including beautiful architecture. Streamlined modern outdoor lighting and stylish outdoor furniture dress up the exterior. The large home sits on three acres and houses not only the family, but caretakers as well. They are as serious about taking care of their children as they are about great interior design. Steel, glass, wood and concrete are the home's main materials. A truly beautiful balance. The great room showcases the mixed materials throughout the home, both the architecture as well as the modern furniture. There's even a super large chalk wall in the library so the kids can read about art, but also create their own. All images from Dwell
