TamTam Lamp

The TamTam is a new lamp designed by Fabien Dumas inspired by a roster of interesting imagery: a juicy bunch of grapes; Nick Mason’s drums from Pink Floyd; the constellation of Perseus. Archetypal lampshades are geometrically arranged to invoke a feeling of organized chaos.

There’s a large central shade in lacquered aluminum, to which various smaller satellite shades are attached, all with opalescent, methacrylate diffusers over the open end to soften the light. The smaller shades can be rotated through 350 degrees using a swivel mechanism.

The clusters, which are manufactured by Spanish company Marset, can be ordered with either three or five satellite shades that are customized in any combination of six color options: black, white, orange, tobacco, green, and gray.
