Sebastian’s art reminds us of the kind of art that might come out of a post-apocalptic urban environment. Compositions are frenetic, hurried, anxious maybe even angry. Or maybe we’re getting those emotions wrong, but we’re there are a lot of emotions of some sort here. Colors are dark, dramatic, even dangerous. Color and movement seems to explode off these canvases. These pieces just seem tough. Like they don’t take crap from no body. But, like most tough cookies, they probably have a soft side to them on the inside.

They’re even made of the sorts of things you might find in a post-apocalyptic world: plastic bags oil paint, plastic bag, fabric’s color transfer, yellow tape, paper, dry pigment, packing tape, color pencil and glitter (okay maybe there won’t be glitter after the end of the world). Still, we like these colors and attitudes we’re seeing. More here.

What do you think of this art?
