Talk about an amazing transformation, the traditional face of this house has been updated but not to the extreme as the modern interiors have been. I personally love this home, the interiors are so open and inspiring. The glass “lofted” bedroom is pretty incredible, creating a structure within a structure. The hidden kitchen is really nice, very minimal.

The design company Brinkworth – which has carried out retail designs for Diesel, All Saints and Karen Millen, and residential work for artist Dinos Chapman and shoe designer Patrick Cox – was commissioned to transform this Edwardian residence into a contemporary home befitting the 21st century. With only the four outside walls retained, an internal steel structure and basement has been created to provide an entirely new interior. It combines soaring double-height spaces with more intimate family areas.
