2014-rhythm-low-08-11-09-42-54Belgian designer Veerle Van Overloop has introduced a suite of tableware under her Fou de Feu ceramic studio label, and it’s an exquisitely curated collection of items aimed at true minimalists. Comprised of plates, cups, spoons, table mats and cutting boards, offered in a range of graduated sizes, the Rhythm collection is distinct for the graceful teardrop shape that echoes through each item, as well as an inspired mixture of materials: porcelain (plates, cups, spoons), leather (coasters and tablemats) and marble (cutting boards). The only drawback is that the combination of creamy porcelain, white marble and tan leather makes for the kind of sublime still life tableau one would never wish to besmirch with food.2014-rhythm-low-08-11-15-15-292014-rhythm-low-08-11-13-53-49Images: Fou de Feu
