In gut-renovating the four floors of the terrace house into a hotel for guests of a recording company, London based architects Alma-nac took inspiration from the music-related art work at their disposal. “Graphic and aesthetic elements from the studio’s various music labels were interwoven with Victorian period features to generate this colourful response,” say the architects, and among those esthetic elements on display are sleek monochromatic cabinetry, saturated colors and typographic details in unexpected places.
