Oooh we love this space! There are tons of wood tones in this modern space, but they all work together sooo well. They all work together so well because they’re in a range of medium tones mingling with light tones and adding in some dark, deep brown for drama and contrast. What really also works well is the concrete additions that make for a balance. It’d be too much wood if not for that cool, calm and serene concrete. Adding glamour is some marble stone, in a backdrop, strangely enough. Seriously, materials.

Designed by Gracia Studio: “The main idea was to create a house to enjoy family time together and try to eliminate the formality of unnecessary areas that are normally used in the traditional Mexican layout. The loft was designed as a separate structure made out of prefabricated galvanized panels and utilizing the same design language to be able to interact as much as possible with the house designed originally.” More.
