Holy wood-wrapped, sputnik-ceilinged, golden-toned, bright, accessible modern home, Batman! Sheesh! Could we love this cool space anymore? A remodel by Austin-based architecture firm Stuart Sampley, this is a perfect example of how homes of all styles can incorporate modern design a little bit.

It’s a modern space and a trendy space, but it’s also surprisingly soothing, a peaceful home. The Sputnik light fixture definitely adds a retro vibe to the space, but a few of the pieces are vintage and traditional.
