Street artists Revok and Pose are the latest duo to put their marks on the slab of concrete that stands at the Manhattan intersection of Houston Street and Bowery. For the last decade, a revolving roster of graffiti artists has been commissioned to cover the wall with signature tags and images, providing New Yorkers with a perpetual outdoor art exhibit. This latest mural, a blindingly colorful montage created by the L.A. based Revok and Chicago-born Pose coincides with their month-long (indoor) exhibit at Chelsea’s Jonathan Levine Gallery.
