I recently came across Espasso, a company that’s sole focus is on Brazilian designers that have a strong influence in modern design both in the past and in present day. Maybe you have heard of a few of them: Jorge Zalszupin, Sergio Rodrigues, Isay Weinfeld, Jose Zanine Caldas, Lia Siqueira and Carlos Motta to name just a few. Espasso has showrooms in London, New York and Los Angeles that carry new pieces and vintage pieces by these amazing designers. I love the layout and design of their showrooms, so minimal, letting the furniture and objects stand on their own, They also have a “projects” section where you can see some of these pieces used in killer modern interiors.
