2013 was a good year for Mid-Century Modern chair reprisals. Bygone designs by Gio Ponti, Richard Neutra, and Arne Jacobsen, among others, were untethered from estate and museum archives and given new life by designing manufacturers. Danish brand PP Møbler is the latest, with a reissue of Hans J. Wegner’s Swivel Chair, an office chair first introduced in 1955.
