Italian architect Paola Navone is the latest designer to put her stamp on Crate and Barrel’s Bauhaus-inspired Arzberg Teapot. The housewares retailer has been indulging in a year-long 50th anniversary celebration by cajoling 12 designers to decorate the unadorned teapot, one of their long-standing offerings. Rolling out one design per month, in a limited edition of 200, has proved to be a raging success—the 9 previous iterations, dating back to Dec. 2012, have sold out rapidly. Navone’s fish-y version goes on sale September 1, and we’re guessing it won’t stay on shelves much longer.
